PGA Junior League Golf

PGA Junior League Golf is a fun, social, and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls ages 8-13 to learn and enjoy the game of golf. Much like other recreational league sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with their friends.

Each team is captained by a PGA or LPGA Professional, who serves as the
coach and is at the forefront of creating a welcoming environment for all
to enjoy the game. PGA Junior League Golf utilizes a popular scramble
format that creates a nurturing environment for learning and development –
both on and off course.

Details:

The Spring 2023 Sandy Burr Jr League will consist of Junior Golfers in two different age groups, U13 & U17. The U13 are ages 8-13 years old and the U17 are ages 14-17 years old. There will be five Matches scheduled on Mondays starting 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15 & 5/22. The 1st & 10th tee will be available for the Monday Matches starting at 5:00 pm. Older Golfers will tee off first. We should have enough daylight until 8:00 pm. There will be four Practice Sessions scheduled on Saturdays starting 4/15, 4/22, 4/29 & 5/6 from 4:00-5:00 pm.
