PGA Junior League Golf is a fun, social, and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls ages 8-13 to learn and enjoy the game of golf. Much like other recreational league sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with their friends.
Each team is captained by a PGA or LPGA Professional, who serves as the
coach and is at the forefront of creating a welcoming environment for all
to enjoy the game. PGA Junior League Golf utilizes a popular scramble
format that creates a nurturing environment for learning and development –
both on and off course.
Details:
The Spring 2025 Sandy Burr Jr League will consist of Junior Golfers in two different age groups, U13 & U17. The U13 are ages 8-13 years old and the U17 are ages 14-17 years old. There will be five PGA Jr League Matches scheduled on Monday’s starting 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19. The 1st & 10th tees will be available for the Monday Matches starting at 5:00 pm. Older Jr Golfers will usually tee off first. We have enough daylight to complete the nine hole Matches. There will be four, One-Hour Practice Sessions scheduled on Saturdays starting 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3 from 4:00-5:00 pm
